Wailea Beach Villas
The Wailea Beach Villas are luxury condominiums located next to the Grand Wailea Resort, Wailea Beach, Marriott Wailea, and the Shops at Wailea. Walking along Wailea
These photos were taken a few weeks ago when I decided to get up early and take a walk along the coast of Wailea in south Maui.
There's a path that runs nearly the entire length of Wailea in front of the resorts and next to the beaches. It's an excellent walk and great for those with kids and strollers.
Malin Akerman at Maui Film Festival
This photo was taken with our good friends Joe and Jessica posing with Malin Akerman. Malin was in Maui to promote her film screening of Happythankyoumoreplease, a film shown at the Celestial Cinema at the Maui Film Festival.
We were all very impressed with how gracious, sweet, and friendly she was with her fans. Malin Akerman has also been in the popular films Watchmen, 27 Dresses, and The Heartbreak Kid. And Yes, she's just as gorgeous in person as she is on the screen.
The Taste of Wailea was All Time!
We almost tried every item served, but there was so much great food it was hard to do.
The turn out was great, the view gorgeous, and the food spectacular. We'll be back again next year for The Taste of Wailea.Wailea Marriott in South Maui

This photo was taken at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa yesterday at sunset. This is one of the best resort pools in Maui. They have 3 pools, but this one is by far the best.Opakapaka at Mala Wailea
Fantastic dinner at Mala Wailea tonight. The Opakapaka was cooked perfectly and placed over Molokai sweet potatoes next to butternut squash and sweet Kula corn.
We also enjoyed some very tasty oysters, ceasar salad, and finished off with a coffee bread pudding. Mala is located at the Wailea Marriott, which is the second location in Maui by chef Mark Ellman. The first Mala restaurant is in Lahaina, which also has a great ocean view. We are addicted to their Kobe beef burger. It's not inexpensive, but it's worth the bucks. We suggest visiting either of these great Maui restaurants.Marriott Sunset in Wailea

Wailea Marriott Adult Pool
We're stopping for the day and enjoying a little pool time at the Wailea Marriott in South Maui.
